Welcome to Cuscowilla Fore Good.
Community at the core.
We are proud to introduce Cuscowilla Fore Good—a spirit that brings our community together with a shared purpose: to make a meaningful impact right here in Putnam County.
ABOUT US:
Our mission is simple but powerful:
“Cuscowilla members join together in a shared commitment to make a lasting difference within the Putnam County community. With a focus on families and children, we dedicate our time, talents, and resources to strengthen lives, build connections, and create opportunities for a brighter future.”
We have selected Habitat for Humanity of Putnam as our community partner. Here’s why:
Habitat is a well-established global nonprofit with a local presence in Putnam County.
Their work directly supports families, aligning with Cuscowilla Fore Good’s focus on families and children.
Affordable housing is one of the greatest needs in Putnam County, and Habitat is uniquely positioned to meet it.
This isn’t about one big gesture; it’s about many small acts of generosity that, together add up to something meaningful. We’re already making a difference and we’d love for you to join us. Click here for volunteer opportunities.

All funds are raised locally, primarily through sales of the Putnam County ReStores, personal and corporate donations. No funds are received from the national Habitat.
ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build strength, stability, and self-reliance locally.

There is an extensive application and process for selection. Each local Habitat’s family selection committee selects homeowners based on three criteria:
The applicant’s level of need.

Yes, we are an affiliate, which is an independent local non-profit that acts in furtherance of the Habitat for Humanity mission.
