Cuscowilla Gets 5-Star Rating from Travel & Leisure Golf
April 1, 2003 EATONTON, GA -- Travel and Leisure Golf published their fifth anniversary issue in April 2003, which included a five star (out of five) rating for the Golf Club at Cuscowilla. The issue focused on golf in Georgia with Cuscowilla's 11th green featuring front and center.
The magazine stated that Cuscowilla is a "masterpiece of pure joy", and "the wicked, but never wacky, green complexes are justifiably renowned". "There is an intense thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and variety of holes, that make this one of the most handcrafted courses that you will ever encounter."
The National magazine went on to cover Cuscowilla's Waterside Restaurant, stating "the Waterside offers fine dining minus the formality, and Southern Living recently called this it's favorite area restaurant", while also stating Cuscowilla's Lake Villa and Golf Cottage accommodations are available for vacationers.
