November 9, 2009 OCTOBER 2009 -- Cuscowilla Names Steinberg Restaurant Operations Manager
Eatonton, GA: Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee has promoted Jeff Steinberg to the position of Restaurant Operations Manager.
Previously the manager of the Waterside Restaurant, Steinberg was promoted to the position in October. With the new position, he is now responsible all Food & Beverage operations on the Cuscowilla property, including the Conference Center, Golf House Grill and Waterside Restaurant.
It is always a pleasure for us to promote and develop our team from within. Jeff has done a sterling job for us over the years at the Waterside Restaurant and he is the natural choice for us to take over all areas of responsibility for our Cuscowilla restaurant operations. Our Managers here become family, and Jeff is a valued and well respected member of the management team, who’s constant coaching skills will have a big impact on all our employees and customers, stated Andrew Ward, Cuscowilla CEO.
Jeff Steinberg joined the Cuscowilla Management Team in late 2003 from the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. Originally from New York City, Steinberg earned his college degree in Speech Communications from OneOnta University in upstate New York. Steinberg lived in Paris, France for a year and studied French at the Sorbonne before moving to Atlanta. He has been a big part of the growth and evolution of the Waterside Restaurant and Cuscowilla Resort. Steinberg takes pride in working in all facets of the Cuscowilla Food & Beverage Team. Steinberg enjoys working in fine dining, wine dinners and special events.
I am very proud to be apart of the special ambiance that makes Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee such a unique place. I enjoy working with all of our members, property owners and resort guests, stated Steinberg.
When not at work, Steinberg enjoys traveling, especially to beaches or ski slopes. He enjoys all sports and loves to venture onto the Cuscowilla golf course when he gets a chance. A passion for fine wines and different cuisine makes Jeff a perfect match with Cuscowilla. Steinberg is looking forward to being an integral part of the management team and the future at Cuscowilla.
