Cuscowilla Golf Shop Named 2007 Merchandiser of the Year
January 11, 2008 -- The Golf Shop at Cuscowilla has been selected as the 2007 Georgia PGA Merchandiser of the Year – Resort.
Jarrod Clark, the Head Golf Professional at Cuscowilla and Georgia PGA member, will receive this honor in February at an awards banquet in Atlanta.
“Obviously, this award is a team effort. We feel honored to be selected. We’ve got a great team with two Assistant Golf Professionals, Jeff Patalan and Clayton Greenhalgh, and our Merchandising Manager, Jessica Odom. Jessica is the backbone of our Golf Shop. Without her, we wouldn’t have received this award,” Clark said.
Cuscowilla was selected the top merchandiser among all resort golf shops in Georgia and was selected amongst its peers. Some of the criteria needed to be chosen include gross sales, profit margins and the appearance of the shop.
